With the PM’s statement on establishment of special Cabinet committee to tackle illegal immigrant problem in Sabah, special allocation of about RM400,00 to all elected assemblymen as well as additional RM1 billion allocation among others, the people hold high hopes that Sabah would finally see positive changes, development and progress. As an opposition elected assemblyman, I hope to see the allocation be put into good use for better basic facilities and infrastructures especially water, electricity and road. With these implemented, the people would have a better standard of living and the state would experience tremendous developments in all sectors and encourage more investors. The announcement that a 300MW (Megawatt) power station would be built in Kimanis, Papar, under a joint venture with Petronas and Sabah Foundation is very much welcomed. With this the TNB’s coal powered plant could be scrapped. Click thumbnail to read news.
