On September 24, 2005 the developer of the 22 shoplots in Sabindo plans to met the Chief Minister to know the reason behind the stop work decision made by the cabinet.

Jeramas Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Haji Tahir Mohammad Yahya  said they would respect the Tawau Municipal Council (TMC) order to stop work after receiving a letter from the latter.

However he said they will only stop for 2 weeks, that is to wait until the Chief Minister is expected to be back from holiday.

Tahir said he will meet the Chief Minister to ask about the reason why his project was stopped by the government.
